Dr. Ling Wang, MD, PhD, Associated research professor Dr. Wang started his radiology residency in Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, Peking University in Beijing in 2011. He interrupted his residency for a 3-year PhD project focusing on the bone imaging analysis and osteoporosis at Peking University where he got his PhD in 2018. In 2017 he joined the Engelke lab as a visiting scholar on the cortical bone segmentation and three-dimensional muscle fat measurements for hip fracture risk prediction. After his return to China, he received his PhD and restarted his radiology residency in Beijing Jishuitan Hospital with research interests on osteoporosis and sarcopenia. He has more than 80 original international peer review publications. He is now a deputy director of Sarcopenia Research Center of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, and an associated research professor of Beijing Orthopedic Research Institute. He is also a member of ECTS Global Outreach Committee and ECTS East-meets-West Action Group.
