Dr Laura Laslett is a musculoskeletal epidemiologist and NHMRC Early Career Fellow at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research at the University of Tasmania. Her PhD thesis was conferred in August 2013, investigating correlates, determinants and modifiers of musculoskeletal pain. She has worked with research groups in three different universities (Adelaide, Leeds, Tasmania), and as an epidemiologist in state government. She has published three clinical trials and other high–quality studies examining associations between osteoarthritis and osteoarthritic pain and function.
